Simmons Lab is run by Dr David Simmons and his ESRC-funded PhD students. Every year we have Postgraduate Masters and Undergraduate Project students contributing to ongoing projects as well. The main focus of ourresearch is Autism and the perceptual differences associated with it. We are also working on adapting new Virtual Reality technology for our experiments. Our Virtual Reality work is carried out in a lab in the School of Humanities (Philosophy), which is managed by Dr Neil McDonnell. We work closely with Immersive Experiences Lab, Glasgow Autism Research Group, Glasgow School of Art and our industrial partners Sublime Digital. We also help with Project Mobius and the user testing for Sublime Digital.
